Where can I park? We have plenty of free parking at The Market. There are 3 parking lots. The map below will give you an idea where the parking lots are in relation to The Market.
What about bicycles? Is there bike parking? Yes – you can secure your bicycle at the front of the building which is the west side just in front of the wind break. Or, you can park on the east side facing Queen’s Park.
Are pets welcome? Service animals are allowed but not pets. Quite a few pet owners enjoy Queen’s Park which is an amazing green space right beside The Market. It is full of native plants, trees, shrubs and flowers. The Western Fair Association maintains the park for the city. We have pollinator gardens and there is a fun splash pad to enjoy on hot summer days as well as picnic tables.
Is The Market accessible to everyone? There is an elevator if you do not want to take the stairs to the 2nd floor Artisans Loft. We have an “All Access” washroom on the main floor suitable for wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and families.
Are the products local? All of the shops are locally owned. There are no national chains or corporate stores at our market. You can check out the shops and see what amazing food, beverages and unique items they offer.
Do you have a “Lost and Found”? We have a lost and found on the 2nd floor in the Market Office. You can call us or email us to see if something was turned into the office.

What’s on the main floor? The first floor is made up of primarily food shops. Butchers, bakers, a fresh fish shop, deli, eggs, cheese, produce, preserves, as well as a variety of shops that prepare food ready to “heat and eat”.
What can I find on the 2nd Floor Artisans Loft? Unique crafts, handmade items, jewelry, sewing supplies, candles, mid-century furniture, vintage games, toys, local designers apparel, cards, gifts, vintage finds, furniture and so much more.
International Cuisine: There are many options for you to enjoy: Latin, Portuguese, Italian, Nepalese, South East Asia, Ukrainian, Hungarian, Middle Eastern, West Indian, French, Brazilian and more.
Do you have vegan and plant based food? We do, as well as gluten free, dairy-free, non-GMO, sulfate free, grass-fed meats and poultry. We encourage you to talk to the knowledgeable shop owners about their amazing products.
Can I eat at The Market? Yes! There are several places you can get amazing breads & pastries, breakfast items, brunch / lunch, snacks or a great coffee on both floors of The Market. There is seating areas on both floors.
